Associação Black Bulls had an outdated logo that lacked personality. It felt generic and did nothing to capture the club's fighting spirit. They needed a fresh mark that could stand on its own.

The objective was to transform a generic animal mark into a fierce, aggressive mascot that embodies power and precision, ready to lead the club into a new era.
I rebuilt their identity from the ground up—starting with research, sketching, and refining until the new bull embodied power and precision. The result is a versatile logo system ready for any application.
The charging motion was refined through dozens of iterations, ensuring the anatomy felt powerful without becoming overly complex for small-scale branding.
The Starting Point: Black Bulls came to me with a logo that had served them for years—but no longer represented who they were. It was time for something bolder.
Research & Direction: I studied the original mark as the primary style and pose reference, gathering material to define a new visual language—studying stylized animal marks that conveyed strength without losing clarity.

From Sketch to Symbol: The first rough sketch captured the aggressive forward motion. From there, I refined the linework until every curve felt intentional.
Visual Evolution: I presented three distinct directions to the client. Concept 1 remains closer to a refined rebrand of the original legacy mark, while the subsequent directions explore more unique and aggressive interpretations. Concept 3 was the final selection for the new identity.

The new identity reinvigorated the club's visual presence. Fans responded immediately, and the refreshed branding now anchors everything from jerseys to stadium signage.
